Mr. Tollie V. Haughn, age 91, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003. He was born April 29, 1912, at Elizabeth to Joseph N. and Laura R. Foster Haughn. He married the former Gracie Baker on March 18, 1931, at Salem. He lived here for 30 years after working in California and Missouri in agriculture and in later years as a carpenter. Mr. Haughn helped construct the Bull Shoals Dam. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by a daughter, Erceil Haughn of Mountain Home; a brother, Harlen (Culen) Haughn of West Plains, Mo.; two sisters, Velma (Lloyd) Stockton of Woodland, Calif., and OlgaLu Berg of Bentonville; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a brother, Roy Haughn; and a sister, Olivia Haughn.
Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church; interment will be in the Dewey Town Cemetery near Elizabeth. Pallbearers will be James and Vernon Hutson, David Humphries, William DeWitt, Doyle Shrable and Mark Allen
