Jean Carol Pepper, 71, of Parkersburg, formerly of the Macfarlan Community, passed away Aug. 1, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Brecksville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Marvin and Marie Gata Hepner. Jean attended the Macfarlan Community Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie and Terry Pepper, both of Petroleum; a daughter, Sharon Tingler of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Hepner of Florida, Richard Hepner, Donald Hepner of Solon, Ohio, and Dennis Hepner of Parma, Ohio; and a sister, Mary Wilkerson of Cleveland, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Paul "Red" Pepper; daughter, Rebecca Pepper; sister, Betty Senk; and brother, Ralph Hepner.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Busch-Kimes Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with the Rev. Charlene Spaur officiating. Following cremation, her ashes will be laid to rest in the Hartley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
