Red Salvia Bloom

Red Salvia flower beginning to bloom. Sometimes referred to as 'Scarlet Sage' are quite showy and really help to accent a garden. Unfortunately, red Salvia doesn't tolerate temperatures below 32F, so it will not survive our colder northern winters.

Flower photograph taken in Chardon, Ohio.
