Black and White - Black Tiger Bee Fly

A black and white photo of a black TIger Bee Fly with black patterns on its wings. This fly also has small white spots on its abdomen. Probably a Xenox tigrinus.

If you have problems with Carpenter Bees in your area this might be a welcomed sight. The Tiger Bee Fly is parasitic to the eggs of the Carpenter Bee.

Insect photograph taken in Chardon, Ohio.
